Every year has its narrative in Burgundy, but 2023 is one we're especially excited to follow. A growing season marked by a warm, generous summer and well-timed rains delivered both volume and verve—no small feat in a region that so often demands compromise. The result? Wines that feel beautifully open-knit and expressive today, yet anchored by the kind of energy and balance that suggests they'll age with grace. In short, this is a vintage that offers both early pleasure and serious pedigree—the kind that reminds you exactly why White Burgundy holds such a special place at the table.

And while we love our California Chardonnays at ACME, nothing quite hits like a cold glass of White Burgundy. Few domaines deliver that experience with the consistency and clarity of Boyer-Martenot. These are the kinds of wines that remind you why you fell in love with Meursault in the first place—textural, mineral, subtle yet powerful.

Vincent Boyer, a fourth-generation vigneron based in Meursault, continues to refine and elevate his family's 20 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards, including prized holdings in nearby Puligny-Montrachet. What sets Vincent apart is his obsessive attention to detail at every level—not just in his Premier Crus, but across his entire range. His commitment to farming each parcel as its own ecosystem translates into wines that feel precise, site-driven, and deeply authentic. In the cellar, the approach is measured and restrained: hand-harvested fruit, gentle pressing, native fermentations, and élevage designed to support rather than overshadow. The goal is transparency—and in 2023, that transparency feels especially compelling.
