Van Canneyt Chardonnay Bourgogne Blanc 2022

Charles Van Canneyt is a rising star in Burgundy. Grandson to Alain Hudelot, Charles took over winemaking and the director position of Domaine Hudelot-Noellat in 2008. With his future dream to make wine under his own name, he began with a few barrels back in 2012, combining a negociant aspect to source from top vineyards, mostly grand crus, augmenting production with the outcome being wines produced with elegance and balance. His personal label receives the same attention and care of his grandparents, highlighting limited extraction, sensible oak, with the emphasis on purity and letting terroir speak for itself.  Quantities are scarce.
