Eisele Vineyard Syrah Napa Valley 2022

Few estates are as revered as the Eisele Vineyard just south of Calistoga. Founded by Bart and Daphne Araujo, over the years they have made their Eisele Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, and this Syrah some of the most coveted wines in the Napa Valley. So much so, that the Pinault family of Bordeaux’s first growth Chateau Latour bought the estate. We just tried this 2022 Syrah, and it is positively beautiful. This 100% Syrah is rich and smoky, with intense licorice, black fruit, and savory spice. It has always been an ACME favorite, a wine that we would buy to put away in the cellar and forget about until the time was perfect.
