Hanzell Estate Chardonnay Moon Mountain District 2021

We have been a very big fan of Hanzell Chardonnay ever since being introduced to the brand during the early days of ACME. The brand has been around since 1957! Thankfully, it has kept a rather “cult-like presence” in the industry allowing for high-end restaurants and shops to showcase it rather than having it available to the masses. Engaging aromas of lemon verbena, honeysuckle, pear and a hint of hazelnut are carried by the bright citrus notes of lime and Meyer lemon. With a creamy, yet bright texture, flavors of tangerine, golden delicious apple, pear, thyme and a saline character linger on the palate through a long, bright finish.
