Domaine des Vieux Pruniers is owned by Christian Thirot-Fournier's family, a multi-generational Sancerre producer.  The primary soils of the village of Bué, just a few miles from Sancerre proper, is composed of limestone and clay, lending the perfect balance for the prestigious wines in this world renowned winegrowing region. They have a commitment to vineyard sustainability and cellar purity. Wines created from the vines that grow in this environment are mineral-laden with high-tone classic flinty and floral characteristics.
