Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company LYSEGRON

Food and wine pairing can be a fickle art and for sommelier and Copenhagen founder, Jacob Kocemba, it was one particular dish that stumped him which served as the spark for crafting his sparkling teas.  While working at a Michelin-starred restaurant, he found a blended tea extract matched best with a dessert course even when searching through the restaurant's 1000+ bottle wine list.  As Jacob tweaked the extract recipe with various teas, the beverage became a guest favorite and Copenhagen Sparkling Teas was born.  He joined forces with Bo Sten Hansen in 2017 to officially launch their brand and share his creations with the world at large.

Lysegron is a brewed from 44% green team (8% Sencha with added citrus), white tea, herbal tea leaves, grape fuice, lemon juice, and natural aromas.  Once hand-crafted, the tea rests for two to three months before bottling.  "The taste is lively and elegant with notes of citrus, lemon grass, Earl Green Sencha, and orange peel.
