Accendo Cellars wines are brilliant in their youth, vibrant and pure, a blend utilizing impeccable fruit from superior vineyard sites, fashioned in a winemaking style that emphasizes elegance, balance, freshness, and finesse. Laurea, a Napa Valley red wine, in just its second vintage, is crafted after the tradition of a Bordeaux blend, made from a unique selection of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc sourced from some of the same vineyards employed for the Accendo Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots from each distinct barrel are blended by winemakers Françoise Peschon and Nigel Kinsman resulting in a wine of power, beauty, and equilibrium. Laurea is Latin for honor and achievement, and we believe this gorgeous wine deserves a spot on the pedestal.

91% Cabernet Sauvignon is buttressed by 9% Cabernet Franc to create a wine that enchants the nose with aromas of dark, brambly blackberries, chocolate torte, and cardamom. This mid-weight, classy wine is seductively fragrant and proceeds to envelop the palate with flavors of cassis and juicy ripe blueberry with undulating velvety tannins.
