Matthew Wallace was conceived by Thomas Rivers Brown’s dear friends- vintners Matt Hardin and Alicia Regusci. This husband-and-wife team boast an impressive heritage…. ten generations of Napa Valley farming. During his time with Barbour Vineyards, Matt has farmed some of the most renowned vineyards in Napa including Hundred Acre, Herb Lamb, and Checkerboard. Alicia immersed herself in the world of premium wine, working for Darioush Winery, T-Vine Winery, and TANK Garage. And of course, Thomas is the winemaking mastermind behind ACME favorites Schrader Cellars, Riverain, and Boar’s View. Thomas was elated to be able to work with fruit from Alicia’s family’s historic Regusci vineyard in Stag’s Leap. This fantastic fruit was mere putty in his capable hands!

Inky, opaque, dark purple hues scintillate in the glass. Waves of aromas converge on the nose suggesting blackberry, cardamom, baked plum, and lavender. The dense, concentrated palate is layered with intricate notes of blueberry compote, crushed rock, black cherry and cocoa powder. Integrated tannins and a long finish will leave you begging for more!
