Carboniste Marin Brut Rosé California 2019

CARBONISTE is an exciting, incredibly inspiring sparkling wine project by husband and wife duo, Dan and Jacqueline Person. Dan worked in the cellar at Larkmead and also at Schramsberg, Napa Valley's premium sparkling house for many years before leaving to focus on their own personal brand, CARBONISTE! Together with Jacqueline, a longtime and invested consultant for Naked Wines, they handcraft these delicious sparklers.....truly one of the most fun and modern sparkling labels we have ever come across!! 

This lip-smacking rosé is a blend of primarily Pinot Noir with a touch of Chardonnay from two organically farmed vineyards in Marin. The wine sees 9 months in barrel followed by 9 months in bottle prior to disgorgement and a light dosage. The wine shows notes of strawberry and pomegranate fruit, along with soft mid-palate creaminess, and a zippy, dry finish.
